Greenbank homes are often tucked back in the trees at the end of a long drive, which means your Christmas lights aren't really for passing traffic. They're for you: the glow through the firs when you come home in the dark, the roofline that greets your guests, the way the whole clearing feels different in December. We design for exactly that, with warm white C9 runs custom-cut to your home and, if you like, accents at the entry or along the drive so the property welcomes people in.
Rural properties come with rural rooflines, custom homes, metal roofs, sections without gutters, and we carry the mounting options to handle them. Based in Oak Harbor, we're a short drive away all season: free quotes, a 48-hour repair guarantee if anything fails, and full takedown and storage in January.
Greenbank sits at the narrow waist of Whidbey with water on both sides, which makes it one of the more exposed places we install. There is very little distance between a Greenbank house and open water in either direction, and the wind reflects that. Properties here are generally larger, more rural and more spread out than in the south-end villages, with long driveways and homes set well back. Wind fatigue is what breaks a display here, not rain.
Distance and exposure push the design the same direction. Set-back homes are read from far away, where only the strong horizontal lines survive, so the full roofline is what the budget should go to rather than detail work that will not resolve. And every elevation here is effectively a waterfront elevation for durability purposes: tighter clip spacing, sealed commercial sockets, wire tight to the edge, connections up out of standing water. Longer rooflines mean more footage, and footage is how these jobs are priced.
Greenbank Farm lights the middle of the island each season, and the open ground around it is exactly the kind of sight line that makes a well-lit roofline carry. We are on the island weekly through the season, so service here is not an afterthought. Installs run through the October and November window.
Everything handled. Nothing stored in your garage.
Three packages, all exposure-rated for mid-island conditions.
Pricing is based on your home's size and roofline. Homes over 4,000 sq ft receive a custom design and quote. See full package details.
We do not charge for service calls. If a bulb fails, a run sags, or weather moves something on your Greenbank home, we are back within 48 hours and it costs you nothing. That holds from install day through takedown.
Not a seasonal pop-up. Holiday lighting draws operators who appear in October and are gone by February. We are Captain Clean Pro Wash, established 1985, licensed and insured, and on Greenbank roofs year round for other work. Learn more about our professional christmas light installation service.
We install throughout Greenbank and Central Whidbey: properties off Highway 525, the Greenbank Farm area, Lagoon Point, and wooded and waterfront parcels between Coupeville and Freeland.
Every Greenbank install is designed around water on both sides of the island and cut to fit your specific roofline, not stretched from a boxed kit. Installation, season-long repairs, removal and off-season storage are all included in one seasonal price. See our full christmas light installation in Island County coverage.
Routes are scheduled in booking order from October 1. Wait until the first cold snap and you are calling the same week as everyone else.
Book by October 15 for ten percent off. We are on the island weekly through the season.
