We're based in Oak Harbor, this is our town. When your lights need service, we're minutes away, not a mainland dispatch and a ferry line away. And Oak Harbor is a real Christmas-lights town: people drive Hastie Lake Road and Crescent Harbor every December just to see the displays. We help your home join that tradition with warm white C9 lighting custom-cut to your roofline, crisp, straight, evenly spaced runs installed with damage-free clips.
For Navy families, this service was practically designed for you. One call and the lights are up, maintained, taken down, and stored, no bins in the garage to PCS with, no ladder time between duty days, and if a deployment lands mid-season, the house still glows every night. Everything is covered by our season guarantee: anything stops working, we fix it within 48 hours, free.
Oak Harbor is the most demanding install environment in our service area, and it is not close. Wind off Puget Sound and the strait, salt in the air, and very little natural shelter on much of the north end of the island. A display specified for an inland Skagit house will not survive an Oak Harbor January, and we do not pretend otherwise. Wind fatigue and standing water, not rain, are what take a display down. For the island viewing circuit, see where to see Christmas lights on Whidbey Island.
What that means in practice: higher clip density everywhere, tighter still at peaks and corners where wind load concentrates, wire routed tight to the roof edge with no slack anywhere in the run, connections elevated and drip-looped because salt air plus standing water is worse than either alone, and commercial-grade sealed sockets rather than the pressed-together consumer kind that corrode within sight of the water.
Oak Harbor housing itself is a mix: military-adjacent newer construction with simple rooflines, older homes closer to downtown, and waterfront properties that get the full marine specification. The roof geometry is usually the easy part here. The wind is the job, and it is why the specification belongs in writing in your quote.
Everything handled. Nothing stored in your garage.
Three packages, every one built to the marine specification.
Pricing is based on your home's size and roofline. Homes over 4,000 sq ft receive a custom design and quote. See full package details.
We do not charge for service calls. If a bulb fails, a run sags, or weather moves something on your Oak Harbor home, we are back within 48 hours and it costs you nothing. That holds from install day through takedown.
Not a seasonal pop-up. Holiday lighting draws operators who appear in October and are gone by February. We are Captain Clean Pro Wash, established 1985, licensed and insured, and on Oak Harbor roofs year round for other work. Learn more about our professional christmas light installation service.
We install across Oak Harbor and North Whidbey: Castilian Hills, Fireside, the Swantown and West Beach areas, neighborhoods off Crescent Harbor Road, Dugualla Bay, and homes out toward Hastie Lake and Fort Nugent. Off-base housing welcome; ask us about your specific base-housing rules.
Every Oak Harbor install is designed around the strongest wind on our routes and cut to fit your specific roofline, not stretched from a boxed kit. Installation, season-long repairs, removal and off-season storage are all included in one seasonal price. See our full christmas light installation in Island County coverage.
Routes are scheduled in booking order from October 1. Wait until the first cold snap and you are calling the same week as everyone else.
Ten percent off October 15 bookings. Whidbey routes are scheduled as a block, so late bookings wait for the next island week.
