Snohomish has the prettiest housing stock in the county, and December is when it shows. The Victorians and craftsman homes in the historic district were built with rooflines meant to be admired, gables, dormers, wraparound porches, and warm white C9 lighting is the one decoration that makes that architecture the star instead of covering it up.
These are not drape-a-strand-and-hope homes, and we don't treat them that way. Every run is measured and cut to follow your home's actual lines, hung with damage-free clips that respect century-old trim, no staples, no nails, ever. The result is a display that looks like it was drawn on: crisp, even, and unmistakably intentional. We maintain it all season under our 48-hour repair guarantee, then take it down and store it when the holidays end.
Snohomish has the most detailed rooflines in the county, and the historic district is a highlight of our Snohomish County viewing guide. The historic district Victorians are exactly the kind of architecture holiday lighting was invented for: multiple gables, porch roofs, bay windows, turned detail and steep pitch. They are also the slowest houses we install, because every one of those features is a separate short run and none of them can be rushed without looking wrong. Detail work is labor, and labor is what moves a holiday lighting price.
The right approach on a Victorian is to trace the architecture rather than to outline the box. That means following the porch roof separately from the main roofline, picking up gable rakes individually, and resisting the temptation to run one long line across features that are not actually continuous. It takes longer and it is the only way these houses look right. On a house like this, who you hire matters more than what you pay.
Outside the historic district, Snohomish runs to more conventional single-story and two-story homes with simpler geometry and quicker installs. Both are on our regular routes, and both get the same clip standard and the same 48-hour service, including takedown and storage in January.

A display that goes dark on December 18 is worth nothing, which is why the fix window is the part of our offer we would ask you to compare hardest. Anything that fails on your Snohomish install, we repair within 48 hours, free, for the whole season.
Forty years on Northwest roofs. This is a seasonal service of Captain Clean Pro Wash, established 1985 and fully licensed and insured. Most of what we know about Snohomish rooflines came from washing and maintaining them long before we started lighting them. Learn more about our professional christmas light installation service.
We install throughout Snohomish: the historic district near First Street, established in-town neighborhoods, newer developments to the east and south, and river-valley and rural properties toward Machias and Three Lakes.
We install, service, remove and store warm white C9 Christmas lighting across Snohomish and the rest of Snohomish County. Your roofline is measured from aerial imagery before we ever quote it, so there is no appointment, no sales visit, and the footage in your quote is a measurement rather than a guess. We install in the order jobs are booked, starting October 1. The Snohomish County calendar is typically full by the first week of November.
Ten percent off for October 15 bookings. Historic-district homes take longer to install, so early dates go quickly.
