On Camano the first design question is which elevation people actually see. A house on a bluff is frequently viewed from the water or from below, not from the driveway, and lighting the street side of it can mean lighting the side nobody looks at. Both areas get exposure-rated installs as standard. Wind across the Stanwood flats and off the water on Camano is the defining durability factor here, more than rain, and it is the reason we run tighter clip spacing and keep wire tight to the roof edge on every exposed elevation in this area.
